Daily follow-up and encouragement

A mix of training sessions and group reflections, concrete tasks and challenges to implement each week creative learning activities and daily personalized coaching on homework questions and results hold the nannies accountable for their own learning.

Usage of natural and recycled materials

In view of sustainability and the feasibility of all activities in different contexts of each country, all the activities taught can be done with natural and recycled materials available around you.

How does the Training work

Nannys have a busy schedule between work and family commitments. Our objective is to offer your Nanny a course that is practical and combines hands-on learning on the job with some theoretical input. We anticipate a time commitment of 2-3 hours per week, including the workshops.

This course therefore combines interactive individual and group learning methods and allows your Nanny to deepen the content at her own pace and practically when working with your child.

Voices from participants

I am so happy and thankful for this course. I loved the educational activities. The Art work activities were so interesting and helpful with the kids. You create something beautiful and useful. It makes the kids so happy and educated in different ways. This course is very helpful for Nannies like me.
Mahlet
Nanny of children 0-6 years old
The training was so interesting. I learned how to do more activities with the children and to create games with them together. Finding things together in the garden with the child was great.
Awa
Nanny of a 2 year old
The game with the toilet paper roll has become one of the favorite games of my little boy. We created it together for his cars to pass through. I was also so much surprised that following the session on independence and responsibility, he has learned to help cleaning up.
Genevieve
Nanny of a 2 year old
Thanks a lot for the training. I observed a lot of changes when interacting with the child. I learned so much how to educate a child. I know now what to do when the child has a tantrum or is being difficult.

Hi, I am Maria

Photo of Maria in a play-space

… a mother of three children and a Montessori education and development expert. I am supporting multilingual families and families living abroad to bring Montessori-inspired play and learning into their homes – with simple, yet effective activities using recycled and natural materials.

Having lived over ten years in Benin, Ethiopia and Vietnam, I know exactly how difficult it can be to access high quality educational activities and materials.

I have been privileged to train over 200 nannies in more than 15 countries in play-based learning and positive education.

I love seeing how every day items can be transformed into fun play ideas in a few minutes. You do not need a lot to come up with amazing creative play and learning ideas. I’ll show you and your nanny how.
